Assignment Description

Currently the Melbourne Institute of Technology (MIT) relies on several existing social platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook to make connections with MIT’s extensive Alumni network, linking them with each other.  These platforms do not allow the flexibility or backend reporting required to be able to monitor and report on the successful engagement of this very important community.

Therefore, MIT would like you to gather requirements and recommend a methodology for Alumni Community Portal which is available publicly and provides opportunities for current students and MIT Alumni to successfully network, attend online and on campus events. In addition, they share local or business information, extend their professional and personal networks Governance and connect with industry partners to increase their engagement with MIT and enhance their career prospects.

To deliver MIT’s request, you are required to write a report based on the following tasks:

  1. Identify the functional and non-functional requirements of MIT’s Alumni portal.
